This is so astounding to me because 1. you clearly see this boy slam into a wall, then faceplant, and 2. even if he believer he was attacked, why say your assailants were Black men? How does that correlate? Outside of it being incredibly racist, of course, it makes no logical sense. He admits that if he were attacked, it had to have come from behind, because “he didn’t see anyone”. So why is no one asking the important question: Why did you say your alleged attackers were Black? Why no apology when you find out, since you “couldn’t remember”, that YOU yourself created those injuries? Why was your first thought to blame “3 Black men”?

And just think if the video never appeared? These police were willing and ready to go wreck three young men’s lives on WORDS alone.

That’s the power of the shit they been selling for nearly five hundred years.

That’s why saying cracker isn’t the same. That’s why calling out dirt encrusted cheeto locks ain’t the same. That’s why “omg I felt so alone” in a majority PoC school ain’t the same. That’s why “black kids were mean to me” ain’t the same. That’s why the “stereotypes” you “suffer” under aren’t the same.

I wish people saw me as harmless and reasonable to the point of shooting 71 people still allows me to be seen as a sympathetic victim. I wish I could lie to the police and raise armies and outrage. I wish I could cry tears and summon armies of men, White and PoC to raise and run with my banners.

This is what you’ve done and allowed and perpetuated and exported world wide.

Disgusting, disgusting, disgusting.

And there’s no responsibility taken. Even when the shit continues and continues. I guess this was just another one of those “isolated” incidents that’s been happening for centuries.
